The votes have been counted and it can now be revealed that Arundel Castle in the South East has been crowned the best Window with a View in the UK for 2019!
Having been initially named as the South East’s best Window with a View by an expert panel of judges, the view from Arundel Castle, a stunning attraction which looks into the gardens of the castle was selected by the public as the most spectacular view in the UK and overall winner.
The view came out on top against a selection of other brilliant entries across the country, including the BT Tower in London, Titanic Hotel in Belfast and this year’s runner up Wharram Percy in Yorkshire which narrowly missed out on the top spot.
The 2019 Window with a View competition has once again celebrated the country’s most stunning architecture and gorgeous landscapes that can be seen through windows across the UK, shining a spotlight on the nation’s thriving tourism industry and raising awareness of the importance of modern, energy-efficient glazing.
It’s been fantastic to see so many outstanding examples of architecture and natural beauty submitted so we’d like to thank everyone who got involved in this year’s competition. All 11 national finalists were spectacular entries but we’d like to congratulate Arundel Castle on the truly striking views that made it a worthy winner.
